Fabiola Molina & Anderson Lim swim at the Olympics-Day Two

By Sergio López Miró

July 29, 2012

This morning we had our two first Bolles swimmers compete at the 2012 Olympic Games here in London.  Fabiola Molina for Brazil in the 100 Back and Anderson Lim for Brunei in the 200 Free.

Fabiola Molina swam in the second seeded heat and swam a 1:01.40.  She was .97 of her life time best and honestly I feel very bad.  Watching her train I really thought that she had a chance to break a minute and get a second swim and hopefully be in the final.  She is a fantastic swimmers that works very hard. A true professional that she deserved to finish her career with a better time.  Sorry Fabiola and thank you for trusting Coach Michael Walker and me with your training this season.  Here are a couple of picture from Fabiola’s 100 back:

Anderson Lim only 16 years old debuted in his first Olympic Games by breaking the Brunei National record in the 200 Free this morning.  He swam a very good and smart race and went a great 2:02.26. His coach Christian Bahr was on the stands cheering for him.  I am very happy for both of them and for Brunei.  Anderson is a very hard working kid and very good teammate to everyone and I have no doubts that he will keep improving in the next years and he will come back to the Olympic games swimming that 200 free a lot faster.  Congrats!

Here is a photo of Andreson Lim and Joseph Schooling.

More swimming tomorrow morning with Jospeh Schooling in the 200 Fly and Ariana Kukors in the 200 IM.

GOOD LUCK to both of them!!!
