As you can see in the in the pictures posted below we made it safe and sound to Sabadell. In my opinion it was a very smooth travel day and also a very long first day.
From the airport we went to the pool had a mini practice (2000 meters) to relax from the trip and from there we took the train to the other older site of the club where we had lunch. Many of the swimmers could barely make it through lunch and were falling asleep in the tables so we got them up and took the train back to the pool where they were able to sleep for an hour in the gym before we had a practice with the Senior group of Sabadell. Tonight practice was very good and our swimmers did a very good job considering that they had barely no sleep for the last two days.
After the practice we meet the rest of the swimmers and host families and everyone left to rest.
Today is also Dillon Love’s (SwimMac) 17th birthday and the whole group sang Happy birthday to him once during our train back from lunch and once in Spanish when we met the host families. Congratulations Dillon!
Tomorrow we will have a very busy day and I sure hope that it is not as humid as today since we will be walking a lot once we get to Barcelona after morning practices. Tomorrow we will be going to the old part of the city and we will be seeing the famous “Las Rambles”, “Olympic Port”, “La Plaza Real” and “The Cathedral”.
Enjoy the pictures that were taken by Mrs. Bryant (SwimMac chaperone) and I hope all of you are having a wonderful day back home.
Before I said goodnight I also want to say “GRACIAS” to the head coach from Sabadell Albert Tubella, his coaching staff and all the Sabadell families for helping us so much today and in making this a reality.
Well, I will write some more tomorrow.
Coach Sergio

Looks like everyone is having a great time already. Really enjoyed the pictures.
Thanks! It was very funny when we sent each one of the swimmers with their host family. The swimmer that is hosting Colin is not taller than Cobi. We all had a good laugh. I am very proud they are doing a great job so far.
