Sean Mahoney Wins in Moscow-World Cup

By Sergio López Miró

October 18, 2012

Great meet for Sean Mahoney at the 2012 World Cup in Moscow, Russia these past two days. Yesterday Sean won the 200 Breaststroke with a 2:05.11, the second fastest time in the World this season. He had a great swim and also won $1.500 for placing first. He also swam the 50 breaststroke with a 28.01 but he did not qualify for the finals :-(.

Today he swam the 100 Breaststroke and did an excellent job with a 59.44 and placing 4th.  His strokes are looking better every meet and like we plan he is swimming faster as he goes to more meets.  Hopefully in a couple of days he will be faster when he swims in Berlin.
