By Sergio López Miró

September 3, 2013

Caeleb Dressel has had an AMAZING summer, from World Trials back in June to the 2013 FINA Junior Worlds this past week in Dubai, UAE.  He has broken many NAG records as a 15-16 year old and in the two weeks after turning 17 he has broken two 17-18 NAG in the 50 and 100 Free.  Both times place him in the top 50 in the World Rankings and establishes him as one of the upcoming stars in the World.

How impressive that the first time Caleb has a chance to represent Team USA, he brings home a total of 6 Medals from the Junior World Championships, two individual and 4 relays.

Gold

48”97 – 100 Free with a New Championship Record and a New 17-18 NAG taking Michael Phelps down

Silver

48”29 – 400 Free Relay

48”83 – 400 Mixed Free Relay

Bronze

22”22 – 50 Free with a New 17-18 NAG taking his friend and teammate Santo Condorelli down

48”70 – 400 Mixed Medley Relay

1:48”27 – 800 Free Relay

Congratulations to Caeleb and his Coach Jason Calanog for the great job that they have done this year preparing and executing a great plan. I have no doubt that great things are waiting ahead for Caeleb and Coach Jason and I just want to CONGRATULATE them Both
